Special General Members Meeting – Tuesday, August 2nd from 7:30 -8:30pm
Volunteers needed for committees!!! Looking for a way to get involved in the club? Come to the special general meeting on Tuesday August 2nd from 7:30 to 8:30pm at the Weymouth Sportsmen’s Club. This meeting is being held to recruit members to get involved in leading/chairing a committee or to participate on a committee. Come and find out how you can become involved!
Whether you have just a few hours to spare, or are interested in a leadership role, take this opportunity to join or chair one of our committees and attend this special meeting.
The Weymouth Sportsmen’s Club relies on member volunteers to decide how things will work and shape the direction of the club. We are a member driven organization. This is how we keep costs down and enjoy the use of a club that gives back to us what we give to the club.

1st Annual Junior .22 Shooting Competition – Ages 10-17 – Sat. Sept. 24th beginning at 1p.m.
$10.00 entry fee includes: One free entry into raffle, free hot dog/hamburger/chips/soda, trophies and prizes. Huge raffle table – all tickets $1.00 or 6 for $5.00. The Junior Program
Instructors needed for the junior program beginning in September. This year we will be alternating archery and rifle/pistol weekly on Wed. 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interested members please contact Dick Striano at 781-749-7271 or email Dick. Instructors will only be needed every other week for one or the other.
Basic Pistol Instructor Course
Dick Striano will be offering a basic pistol instructor class sometime in August. There will be a sign up sheet on the bulletin board. Date has not yet been determined. If you are interested in signing up email Dick
Maintenance Help Needed
Volunteers are needed to assist with grass cutting, cleaning the range, yard maintenance, inside building maintenance. Please contact Dick 781-749-7271, Dave 617-750-8198 or Bob 781-337-2091.
New Member Orientation
New member applicants are required to attend an orientation meeting in order to obtain key card access to the club and the range. All potential new members must sign up for and attend the session which is held one night a month on a Wednesday evening at 7pm. See the calendar for dates. Send an email to info@weymouthsportmensclub.com with your name and the date of orientation you will be attending. Please note: Your application must be completed and submitted at least one week prior to date of new member orientation meeting you will be attending or you will need to sign up for the following month. Calendar/Newsletter
If a member knows of a special event or is offering a course and would like it listed on the website calendar just send an email. If you would like to include something in the monthly newsletter such as new activities, upcoming programs or local events that may interest other members, send an email by the 5th day of the month and it will be posted it in the monthly newsletter.
