The junior program meets 3 times a month. See the schedule on the web site , or on the bulletin board at the club. The juniors meet at 6: 30 p.m.
Dick Striano is running a course for NRA Instructors to be certified as Range Officers. We need these officers in the club, so please get your certification to enhance the club and make it a safer environment to shoot. Course to be on December 12th at 8 A.M.
All are welcome on Wednesday evenings to observe or help with the junior program. The new officers have been installed and the club business is in good hands. Please volunteer for a committee position and help things along.
The range target carriers have been repaired after 5 years of constant use. Please observe the range rules when using the range. There have been a few changes. All rules are posted at the range. Please read and follow them.
BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!
The club is having a membership drive to boost our membership. If you have a candidate, you may offer them a one time payment of $ 120.00 if they join then and there. The club will waive the initiation fee and the card fee this one time.
The new front entry door has been installed. Thanks to the hard work of Dave Francis and his brother Paul. Hopefully the alarm will be reactivated for club entry. The trim and other cosmetic items will be completed in the near future.
I was once asked by a lady visiting if I had a gun in the house. I said I did. She said, ‘Well I certainly hope it isn’t loaded!’ To which I said, of course it’s loaded, it can’t work without bullets!’ She then asked, ‘Are you that afraid of someone evil coming into your house?’ My reply was, No not at all. I am not afraid of the house catching fire either, but I have fire extinguishers around, and they are all loaded too.
Ryder Development is building Town house units to the rear of our building. They are progressing slowly. The new road will be finished in the Spring, and Tirrell St. will also be widened in the Spring.
There are several new members who have joined the club for archery activities. We welcome them. The club also wants to promote the sport of archery.
